Overview
In April 2024, the C28 Business Alliance was formed with the mission to lead the charge in establishing safety, economic growth, and unity from the front lines of the community. The aim was to set a clear direction for the businesses and residents in the area to rally together around a common vision and foster radical collaboration and resilience. Together, we believe we can build a secure, prosperous, and prideful community for future generations.
Therefore, this Community Action Plan (CAP) has been developed by the C28 Business Alliance to engage all members of the community to actively support this vision with clear steps of involvement.

2. Community Events
Beginning with safety, in August 2024 C28 kicked off a 3 month pilot program for a shared security for the businesses within the 28th drive corridor between Sweetwater and south of Cactus. This enlisted Omega Protective Services to provide security to the area for 10 hours a day for 7 days.
