Held annually on June 2nd (6/02), this day is all about showing love for the 602 area code, one of the most iconic symbols of Phoenix. It’s a celebration of the city’s history, its people, and its future. Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or just moved in, 602 Day is a chance to connect with the heart of the Valley.
As 602 Day approaches, local businesses can help the community celebrate by offering various promotions. Whether it’s a $6.02 special, 602 Day-themed menu item or activity, or just sharing love for the community through social media, there are many ways to celebrate.
Local businesses and organizations can officially get involved by submitting a 602 Day Business Participation Form.
Unfortunately the official submission deadline was Friday, April 25, but we can still if you are part of C28 and wish to still get involved, contact us with details about your 602 promotions and we will promote it here on the C28 and our Instagram. AZ Restaurant Week
The AZ Restaurant Week, a bi-annual event, will take place from Friday, May 16th through Sunday, May 25th. Nearly 200 restaurants, from fast-casual to five-star fine dining establishments, are expected to participate across the valley. 2025 Neighborhood Block Watch Grant Approved!
Exciting News — Our NBW Grant Was Approved! We’re excited to share that our 2025 Neighborhood Block Watch (NBW) Grant application has been officially approved by the City of Phoenix! 🎉 The C28 Business Alliance originally applied for $12,000 to support safety, unity, and community engagement efforts along 28th Drive. Although our application was initially declined due to a misunderstanding
Community Clean Up 2024
80 volunteers from different businesses, churches, and organizations came together to clean and landscape 28th Drive! In just 2 hours, the team was able to make their way from Cactus to Larkspur and clean 28th drive and the alley’s behind them.
Shared Security Pilot Program
As part of C28’s commitment to security, we are excited for the launch of a 3 month Shared Security Pilot Program launching this September!
Koro BAS Fuels Community Safety with C28-Branded Security Camera Unit
C28 took a significant step towards enhancing safety along the 28th Drive corridor by deploying a branded solar-powered 24-hour camera trailer, generously donated by Koro BAS, one of our dedicated member businesses.
