A Community That Cleans Together Stays Together!
On Saturday September 21, 80 volunteers from different businesses, churches, and organizations came together to clean and landscape 28th Drive! In just 2 hours, the team was able to make their way from Cactus to Larkspur and clean 28th drive and the alley’s behind them.
Representation from every part of the community met at CalvaryPHX to kick off the event. Members from the Phoenix Neighborhood Services (NSD) and Police Department (PD) provided on site assistance to ensure it was a safe and successful day. The Phoenix Tool Bank provided tools to equip volunteers for the projects.
Several local businesses within the C28 Alliance brought volunteers and worked together to make a major impact on several key areas of the 28th drive corridor.
The day was a huge success! The alleys and streets look so much cleaner. Residents even came out to thank our volunteers, and some even joined the teams in their work. Two individuals requested services and were able to get into detox and substance recovery during this effort thanks to the partnership of Phoenix Rescue Mission. Everyone that came out had a great time, ate lunch together, and are looking forward to the next one!

AZ Restaurant Week

Exciting News — Our NBW Grant Was Approved!
